The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has cancelled the results of 22 NEET PG candidates - 21 due to inequitable means in the examination and one due to an order by the Karnataka High Court. The clearing of NEET PG 2025 will start in the 3rd week of the month of October 2025; however, the candidature and outcome of 13 applicants have not been released as yet. The rest of the candidates listed in the official notice, whose NEET results were struck down, are of earlier years - years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. Final list of revoked results of NEET PG here.
The NBEMS, the scorecards and the results of all 22 candidates stand null and void. “Producing the said scorecard and/or result of NEET-PG of the respective session for any purposes, including but not limited to employment, enrollment, registration, or admission to PG courses, shall be unlawful,” the board stated in its notice.
The NBEMS further clarified that it will not be responsible for any admissions, employment, or registrations obtained using the cancelled results. NBEMS disclaims any responsibility or liability arising from employment, admission, or enrollment based on the NEET PG result being cancelled.
The Candidacy Ethics Committee associated with NBEMS has already withdrawn the candidacies of 21 candidates, citing the improper practices they employed in the exam. The aircraft performance of one of the candidates in the 2025 session was not given, and there was a case pending in the Karnataka High Court. It has also been affirmed by the board that judgment scorecards of the concerned candidates in earlier years and this year are not valid and cannot be utilised in employment of the candidates, Pg buildings of the candidates, as well as the higher education.
THE NEET PG 2025 exam, which was originally supposed to be held on 15 June 2025, has been deferred. This decision was announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to carry out an exam according to the order of the Supreme Court, according to which the conduct of the exams had to be organised in one shift. Consequently, more test centres are being scheduled to address the change. The updated date of the examination will be announced in the near future.
MCC is also expected to start NEET PG 2025 counselling in the second week of October. The counselling of the Federation of All India Medical Association will commence second week of October. But the committee has not notified in relation to the NEET PG 2025 counselling start date and time.
In the meantime, the NEET PG 2025 hearing has been delayed by the Supreme Court for two weeks. Through this page, NEET postgraduate (2025) learners can receive updated information on the Supreme Court hearing, counselling date, and PG admission to medical school.
