The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has announced a total of 607 vacancies through the Rajasthan RAS Recruitment 2026 notification for various State Service and State Subordinate Service posts. The selection of candidates will take place through a three-stage process for RPSC RAS 2026-27.
The Rajasthan RAS Preliminary Examination is the first stage of the recruitment process. It is conducted in objective multiple-choice format to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination. Questions are asked from General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Rajasthan History, Geography, Economy, Polity, and General Science.
The Preliminary Exam is qualifying in nature, and its marks are not considered while preparing the final merit list.
Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Examination will appear for the Rajasthan RAS Main Examination. The Mains exam is descriptive and designed to evaluate candidates’ analytical thinking, writing skills, and understanding of various subjects.
