Educational Qualification (as on 07-10-2026): Candidates need a 12th pass from a recognized Board for LDC/ JSA and most DEO posts. For DEO posts in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, SSC and Ministry of Culture, 12th pass in the Science stream with Mathematics is compulsory. Candidates awaiting their 12th result can also apply, but the result must be declared before the cutoff date.
