NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 1: Registration (Started), Dates & Schedule (Soon)

NEET PG 2025 counselling round-1 registration has started online. MCC activated the registration link on October 17, 2025. Students will have to register at the official website, mcc.nic.in and declare choices for seat allotment. An official brochure comprising the seat allocation process, eligibility criteria and other details has been uploaded. A direct link has been provided below for NEET PG 2025 counselling registration. Whole counselling dates and schedule for NEET PG 2025 will be released soon. It must be noted the Medical counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for the allotment of 50% All India quota seats.

NEET PG Counselling 2025 is being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for admission to postgraduate medical courses (MD / MS / PG Diploma / DNB) under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ), central and deemed universities, and other participating institutions. Meanwhile, the remaining 50% of state quota seats are handled by respective state authorities. 
Round 1 is the first phase in this process—this is where qualified candidates can register, select their preferred courses and colleges, and receive seat allotments based on rank, preferences, and seat availability. 

How to Check the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

Once MCC publishes the allotment list, here’s how candidates can check:

1. Go to the official MCC PG Medical Counselling portal (mcc.nic.in) under “PG Medical Counselling.” 
2. Look for the link named “Round 1 Seat Allotment Result / Allotment Order PDF.”
3. Download the PDF of allotted candidates
4. Use Ctrl + F (find) to search your NEET roll number or All India Rank (AIR)
5. If allotted, your name, scheme/quota, college, and course will be mentioned
6. Download/take a printout of your seat allotment letter for further procedures

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Process

Here’s a breakdown of the steps a candidate will need to go through in Round 1:

1. Registration: Qualified candidates must register on the MCC portal by entering their NEET PG roll number, registration number, personal details, etc.
2. Payment & Security Deposit: During registration, candidates need to pay a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit (amounts vary by category).
3. Choice Filling & Locking of Preferences: After registration, candidates will see seat matrices (colleges, specialties, and categories) and must fill their preferences (courses + colleges). These have to be locked by the deadline. If not locked manually, some systems auto-lock.
