RBI Assistant Vacancy 2023:
In 2023, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released a Notification 450 Post for Assistant posts through RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023. In this section, we have shared the category-wise & state-wise vacancy distribution for RBI Assistant 2023.

The abbreviations used in the above-shown table, stand for -Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Ex-Servicemen (EXS), Disabled Ex-servicemen/ Dependents of servicemen killed in action (EX-1), Ex-servicemen (Normal) (EX-2), General/ Unreserved (GEN/UR), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
The General and OBC Candidate are required to pay Rs. 450 as an application fee for the RBI Assistant.
The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD will pay Rs. 50 as an application fee for the RBI Assistant.
Aspirants can pay the application fee online only (Net banking/credit/debit card).
Note: As per the RBI Notification, RBI staff is not required to pay the application fee.

Nationality:
A candidate is required to be:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal and Bhutan, or
(c) a Tibetan refugee (who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India), or
(d) a person of Indian origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
For the post of RBI Assistant, the RBI has capped the age limit to 28 years. To appear in the RBI Assistant Exam, a candidate must come in the bracket of 20 to 28 years of age.

After clearing the RBI Assistant Mains, an aspirant will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT).
The basic pay of Selected Candidates will be ₹20,700/- per month in the scale of ₹20700– 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 (1) – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time.
Currently, an initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for an Assistant will be approximately ₹47,849/-.
Note: A House Rent Allowance (HRA) of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in the accommodation of the Bank.
