The Railway Recruitment Board has started the RRB NTPC Document Verification 2026 process for shortlisted candidates under CEN 05/2024. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has now activated the RRB NTPC Document Verification 2026 for those who have received their CEN No. 05/2024. Now, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the RRB NTPC Document Verification 2026 Portal for applicants having their CEN No. 05/2024. The NTPC Final Merit List was earlier released on 7th May 2026. After the performance in 2nd Stage CBT (CBT-2), candidates have been shortlisted in two categories – CAT 1 and CAT 3. For Category 2 posts, selection is made based on the following criteria: 70% for CBT and 30% for CBAT score.
At this stage, the eligibility and authenticity of selected candidates will be checked carefully. RRB NTPC Document Verification
The Railway Recruitment Board will start the RRB NTPC Document Verification 2026 for all those candidates who have been shortlisted under the CEN 05/2024. The schedule of NTPC DV is soon to be released. Shortlisting is done based on the performance in the CBT 2 and CBAT for the candidates and not in merit order. Category 1 and 3 is selected according to CBT, with 2 marks out of 100. The Board has taken into consideration 70% CBT 2 marks and 30% CBAT performance for Category 2. Candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted will now be given a chance to appear at the Document Verification and Medical Examination stage. Candidates will then receive their Document Verification details through e-call letters, which will also include the date, venue, and reporting time for the DV process.

RRB NTPC DV Upload Portal 2026 for CEN 05/2024 Candidates
The Railway Recruitment Board has activated the official DV portal for RRB NTPC 2026 candidates who are shortlisted. All selected candidates must upload their scanned documents, photograph and signature through this online system. The portal is going to help in smooth verification before the physical DV process. Candidates should use it carefully as per the instructions given in their e-call letter.
RRB NTPC DV Documents Required 2026 – Check Complete Certificate List
Candidates who are shortlisted for RRB NTPC Document Verification 2026 have to follow strict guidelines while presenting their documents. The Railway Recruitment Board requires both original certificates and self-attested photocopies for verification. Below are the important points that every candidate must follow.
- Candidates must carry original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies in A4 size as mentioned in the e-call letter.
- They must also upload scanned copies of documents, photo, and signature (in true colour) on the official DV portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv.
- All the certificates have to be in the prescribed format and must be in English or Hindi only.
- Original certificates are mandatory on the day of Document Verification; failing to produce them may lead to rejection.
- Any Absence during DV or medical examination will then result in cancellation of candidature and will remain purely provisional until final verification.
After RRB NTPC DV 2026: Medical Test, Final Appointment & Joining Process
Candidates who complete the NTPC Document Verification process will be sent for a Medical Examination at the Railway Hospitals assigned by their respective RRBs. In most cases, the medical test is conducted on the next day after DV or according to the schedule mentioned by the Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates are advised to stay prepared for around 3 to 4 days to complete the entire process, including travel to the allotted Railway Hospital location. The medical examination will be conducted by the Railway Hospital, and candidates only need to pay a medical fee of Rs. 24/-. However, if the board recommends any special medical tests outside the Railway Hospital, candidates may have to pay additional charges directly to the concerned laboratory or hospital.
