Sashakt Panchayat-Netri Abhiyan: Empowering Women Leaders in Local Governance

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj established the “Sashakt Panchayat-Netri Abhiyan” for launch on 4th March 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi during a National Workshop. The Sashakt Panchayat-Netri Abhiyan employs an initiative to strengthen Women Elected Representatives (WERs) of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) through leadership development and decision-making improvements and active governance participation.
