Intensified Special NCD Screening Drive: Key Highlights & Objectives

The Union Health Ministry launched the Intensified Special NCD Screening Campaign from 20th February to 31st March 2025 which targets complete non-communicable disease testing of adults 30 years of age or older for diabetes, hypertension, and three frequent cancers of oral, breast, and cervical origin. The National Programme for Prevention and Control of NCDs (NP-NCD) will execute the campaign through door-to-door outreach efforts and crucial medical supply distribution while developing real-time data systems and multi-level cooperations for operational success.
