The SSC cancelled the first shift examination scheduled on 11 February 2026 at several centres of the Eastern Region. Candidates who appeared or were scheduled for this shift should wait for the revised schedule.
A total of 11 venues across cities like Sambalpur, Gangtok, Ranchi, Kolkata, Cuttack, Berhampore, Dhanbad, and Bhubaneswar were affected. The commission clarified that all candidates will be notified after finalising the new exam date.

The Central Region also released an important notice stating that the exam scheduled on 11 February 2026 (Shift-1) was cancelled at 13 venues.
These include major affected cities such as Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Patna. It has also been clearly mentioned by SSC that the exam will be repeated and new admit cards will be available on the Official site.

In a separate update, SSC declared that examinations that had been cancelled or postponed at certain venues in Jhansi and Gorakhpur are now going to be rescheduled for 13 February 2026.
All candidates whose exams were affected should download their revised admit cards on the SSC site and appear on the revised date.

Karnataka Kerala Region also reported cancellations at select venues due to technical and administrative issues.
Centres in Kalaburagi and Mysuru were affected. Some shifts were fully cancelled, while in one case, a small number of candidates were accommodated in another shift and the remaining candidates will receive a new schedule.
