SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2025 – Check Revised CBT Pattern, PET/PST for Havaldar

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to conduct the SSC MTS 2025 Exam from 20th September to 24th October 2025, according to the official exam calendar. SSC MTS 2025 CBT Exam Pattern (Revised)

According to the updated pattern issued by the Staff Selection Commission, SSC MTS 2025 Computer based-Test (CBT) will happen in two mandatory sessions- Session-I and Session-II. The two sessions are necessary to qualify. Missing any of the sessions will automatically disqualify the recruitment process. This trend is applicable to MTS (Non-Technical) as well as Havaldar.

SSC MTS 2025 Session-II Exam Pattern (With 1 Mark Negative Marking)

Successful candidates after passing Session-I are to attend Session-II which is also important and compulsory. Session-II does not follow Session-I as there is negative marking in the questioning pattern, with 1 mark deduction being done on every wrong answer. It is recommended that candidates should be extra cautious and precise with this session.

SSC MTS Physical Test (PET & PST) – Only for Havaldar Post

The students who will appear in the CBT exam and will pass it will have to pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) to appear in the Havaldar post under SSC MTS 2025. These are the qualifying tests of physical fitness and no marks are allotted but failure of such tests will disqualify the candidate of Havaldar selection.
