The INS Tamal, an Indian Navy latest stealth multi-role frigate, will be commissioned on July 1 in the town of Kaliningrad in Russia. It is the final warship constructed outside of India which is in accordance with Indian government policy “Atma Nirbhar Bharat” and Make in India programme. This is the war-ship of the series of Krivak-class and has mixed up Indian and Russian technologies and also features well-advanced technology such as BrahMos cruise missile.
