Jharkhand Lady Supervisor Competitive Examination 2023: Exam Pattern

The Jharkhand Lady Supervisor Competitive Examination 2023 exam has been divided into three parts i.e. Paper 1, paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper 1 is based on language (Hindi and English), Paper 2 is based on Identified Tribes and Regional Languages, and Paper 3 is divided into two parts i.e. Technical and GA, Quantitative aptitude, and science.

Part 1

(a) Knowledge of Hindi language:-

(i) Questions based on Hindi paragraph – 30 questions

(ii) Questions based on Hindi grammar – 30 questions

In this subject, there will be questions based on Hindi Unseen Passage and Hindi Grammar.

(b) English language knowledge :-

(i) Questions based on English Paragraph – 30 questions

(ii) Questions based on English Grammar – 30 questions

In this subject, there will be questions based on English Unseen Passage and English Grammar.

Part 2

  • Candidates will be able to appear for the exam in any one language out of Hindi/ English/ Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Santhali/ Bengali/ Mundari (Sunda)/ Ho/ Khariya/ Kudukh (Uraon)/ Kurmali/ Khortha/ Nagpuri/ Panchpargania/ Oriya on the basis of option.
  • In this examination, 100 multiple choice questions of the respective language will be asked.
  • The duration of the examination of the said paper will be 2 hours. The syllabus of tribal and regional language is given in Appendix-XII.

Part 3

(a) The syllabus of technical/special subjects is attached in Appendix-XIII of the prospectus.

(b) (i) General Studies:-

Knowledge of matters like current events and day-to-day happenings, astute observation, and scientific approach towards them is what is expected from any educated person. In this, as many questions as possible can be asked specifically regarding Jharkhand, India, and neighboring countries.

Current Affairs, Scientific Progress, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Book, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports Players, Important Events.

History of India, culture, geography, environment, economic scenario, freedom movement, important features of Indian agriculture and natural resources and Constitution and polity of India, political system of the country, Panchayati Raj, community development, five year plan.

General information about the geographical location of Jharkhand state.

Knowledge related to Jharkhand state:-

Jharkhand state's geography, history, civilization, culture, language-literature, places, mines, minerals, industries, Jharkhand's contribution in the national movement, development plans, sports players, personalities, civic achievements, topics of national and international importance, etc.

(ii) General Science:-

In General Science questions, there will be questions related to general understanding and understanding of science (including computer knowledge) based on day-to-day observation and experience. As is expected from a well-educated person who has not made any special study of any scientific subject.

(ii) General Mathematics:-

In this subject, generally, there will be questions related to Mathematics, Elementary Algebra, Geometry, General Trigonometry, and Mensuration. Generally, it will have questions of Matric$/10$ class level.
