• The Senior Secondary Level exam is revised to 1 to 3 December 2026 with two shifts on each day.
• The Graduate Level exam is revised to 16 to 18 January 2027, with two shifts on 16 and 17 January and one morning shift on 18 January.
• The board revised the calendar because urban body and panchayati raj elections in Rajasthan affected the exam schedule planned for October 2026.

RSSB CET Graduate Level Notification 2026

The Graduate Level notification is issued under Advertisement No. 09/2026 dated 01 July 2026, under the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Service (Common Eligibility Test) Rules, 2022. It acts as a single eligibility test for 12 subordinate services. Passing it does not guarantee a job. Candidates must separately qualify in the main exam or interview held by the concerned recruiting agency.

Candidates from earlier cycles should note that the CET Graduate Level 2024 score expired on 11 February 2026. Even candidates who already have a 2024 score must apply fresh for the 2026 cycle to stay eligible.

RSSB CET Senior Secondary Notification 2026

The Senior Secondary Level notification is issued under Advertisement No. 08/2026. It is meant for candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 from a recognised board. It works as the eligibility gateway for 14 subordinate and clerical services, including Forest Guard (Vanpal) and Police Constable. Clearing it only makes a candidate eligible for the departmental main exam.

RSSB CET Vacancy 2026

The notification does not carry a fixed vacancy number for either level. Vacancies for the 12 Graduate Level and 14 Senior Secondary Level services will be announced service-wise and department-wise when each department releases its own recruitment advertisement. RSSB CET Eligibility 2026

Education

For the Graduate Level, candidates must hold a graduation degree or its equivalent. For the Senior Secondary Level, candidates must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent. Final-year candidates may also apply if they obtain the qualification before the main departmental exam. Post-specific qualification will follow the service rules issued with each main recruitment.

Age Limit

For both levels, candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have crossed 40 years as on 1 January 2027.

Nationality

Applicants must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries to settle in India permanently, subject to an eligibility certificate from the Government of India.

RSSB CET Application Fee

The fee is category-wise and is the same for both levels. Check your slab below to avoid payment errors.

The fee is paid once through OTR. Candidates who already paid the OTR fee in an earlier cycle do not need to pay again. Payment can be made through e-Mitra kiosks, Jan Suvidha Kendra (CSC), net banking, debit card, or credit card. SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS candidates from other states are treated as General category and pay ₹600.

RSSB CET Apply Online 2026

The online application window is now closed for both levels. The steps below are given for reference, so applicants know how the process worked and can use it in future CET cycles.

1. Visit the SSO Portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in and log in with your SSO ID.
2. Under Citizen Apps (G2C), select "Recruitment Portal".
3. Click "Apply Now" against the relevant CET (Graduate Level or Senior Secondary Level 2026).
4. If OTR is not done, complete One Time Registration first (category, disability status, home state) and pay the fee.
5. After OTR, your live photo, signature, and category details fill in automatically.
6. Fill in the remaining details of the online form carefully.
7. Preview the form, then click Final Submit. Preview is not the same as submission.
8. Save the Application ID generated after submission.

OTR and SSO login: OTR is a one-time step tied to your SSO ID, and the same details are reused in all future RSSB and RPSC applications. Every applicant must use their own SSO ID, because applications filed through another person's SSO ID are treated as invalid. Fields pulled from OTR, such as name, date of birth, photo, signature, and category, cannot be changed after submission except in the correction window.

RSSB CET Exam Pattern 2026

Both levels are single-paper objective exams in offline OMR mode. All questions carry equal marks, and the table compares the two patterns.

Graduate Level subjects: History of India and Rajasthan, Culture, Geography, Polity, Economy, Science and Technology, Reasoning and Maths, Current Affairs, Public Health, Computer Knowledge, General Hindi, and General English.

Senior Secondary Level subjects: History and Culture of Rajasthan, Geography of India and Rajasthan, Indian Polity (Rajasthan reference), Economy of Rajasthan, Everyday Science, Reasoning and Maths, Current Affairs, Public Health, Computer Knowledge, General Hindi, and General English.

Negative marking and option E: Each question has five options (A, B, C, D, E). If you want to skip a question, darken option E. A question left with no option darkened also gets 1/3 negative marking, and this is allowed only for up to 10% of the questions. RSSB CET Reservation and OTR Rules

• Horizontal reservation for women is 30% category-wise, including 8% for widows and 2% for divorced women within the women's quota.
• SC/ST backlog vacancies are carried forward for up to three subsequent recruitment years if suitable candidates are not available.
• EWS candidates get 10% reservation as per the state notification.
• Outstanding sportspersons get 2% horizontal reservation, and ex-servicemen get 12.5% horizontal reservation in direct recruitment.
• Reserved category candidates from other states are treated as General category.
• Once paid, the OTR fee need not be paid again in future RSSB or RPSC exams. If a candidate stays absent in two or more exams of any Rajasthan recruitment agency in the same financial year (1 April to 31 March), the OTR facility is blocked. Reactivation costs a ₹750 penalty the first time and ₹1,500 for a repeat block in the same financial year.
