75th Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra to be Inaugurated in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh

The 75 th Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) in Badaun-Uttar Pradesh will be inaugurated by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The centre will maintain integrated support services and have assistive aids to Divyangjan and elderly citizens of schemes such as ADIP and RVY. The event will be presided by Union Minister of State Shri B.L. Verma. They alleviate costs since these centres ease the transportation hassles since they offer services at a local level. The PMDK initiative has already helped more than 1.4 lakh people since 75 centres are already up and running.

  • The Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) has been included in the larger mission of Government of India to develop an inclusive and accessible society by persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) and senior citizens.
