OmanSat-1 Oman’s First National Communications Satellite Launched Successfully

The first national communications satellite, OmanSat-1, is one of the historic milestones of the country in the journey of space and digital transformation in the country. The satellite will be announced on 23 November 2025 and will be developed in cooperation with one of the largest aerospace manufacturers in the world in order to increase the technological capacity of Oman. • Oman collaborated with Airbus Defence and Space to design, manufacture and deploy OmanSat-1, the first national communications satellite in the country.

• It is being constructed on the superior OneSat platform, which is entirely reconfigurable digitally in the air.
