There is a Letter of Intent (LoI) between India and the World Food Programme (WFP) concerning the need to deal with global hunger. With this partnership, the Government of India will supply fortified rice to WFP, and in this way, it will help satisfy the nutritional demands of vulnerable groups in crisis regions. This project will highlight India's commitment to world food security based on the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family). WFP is grateful to India and its continued humanitarian assistance as food insecurity continues to increase globally. The LoI is a product of prior deliberations and is supposed to guarantee effective food aid disposition.

During the four-day visit, between August 25-28, Army-to-Army cooperation will be enhanced, the security challenges being faced in the region and other parts of the world will be discussed, and defence industrial cooperation possibilities will also be explored.
