Indian teacher Rouble Nagi has claimed the highly coveted 2026 GEMS Education Global Teacher Prize, which is presented with the US$1 million prize in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, at the World Government Summit. It is awarded by the Varkey Foundation and is partnered with UNESCO, and it is given to recognise significant contributions in the field of education, either locally or globally.
