First Tri-Service All-Women Circumnavigation Sailing Expedition Flagged Off
The Samudra Pradakshina, the first-ever tri-service all-women circumnavigation sailing expedition in India was inaugurated by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Gateway of India, Mumbai. The trip, which is a nine-month expedition, will include 10 women officers who will serve in the Army, Navy, and Air Force on the Indian Army Sailing Vessel (IASV) Triveni, which is indigenously built.
