This treaty specifically seeks to harmonize the manner of filing industrial designs in member nations by bringing down administrative formalities and promoting international IPR. In this context, by integrating with the international standard, India provides a further boost to act as a center for innovation and industrial design.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Riyadh DLT could provide further improvement in business conditions for the Indian contenders, particularly those in design-sensitive industries such as the consumer good, textile, and auto sectors. More importantly the Indian firms can now apply at different jurisdictions for the same design at varying locations at once. This is a strategic plan that will help in the safeguarding of innovative property of inventors in India as well as assist them in penetrating the international markets and therefore help to enhance export linkages and export competitiveness of the country.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">India\u2019s industrial design applications have ex- periential growth of 36.4% in 2023 which clearly indicates that awareness and importance of IPR is increasing in the country. This growth complements the government\u2019s \u2018Make in India\u2019 and \u2018Atmanirbhar Bharat\u2019 drive or \u2018self-reliance\u2019 campaign that has been realized in the wake of the covid 19 pandemic. Moreover, it allows the protection of the traditional Indian designs and handicraft to let India\u2019s cultural image get an international recognition and protection against infringement.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The DLT\u2019s advantages are not limited to organizations; it also appears to have positive effects in certain ways of working. It is believed to create more awareness to the young entrepreneurs and small firms to begin making innovations to enable them to operate on the international market. Through a creativity friendly environment, India is not only opening its industries for home-based profits but also encouraging foreign investors.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For students preparing for SSC and UPSC, this development is related to international treaties, trade policies and IPR. And it reveals India\u2019s active steps in enhancing the IPR legislative framework, encouraging innovations, and becoming a part of global economy.
