Today marked the inauguration of the 10th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC 2024) and Arogya Expo in Dehradun. Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Ayush Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha were among those present.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

According to Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav, the Congress represents the convergence of different cultures, ideologies, and innovations, indicating the global reach and influence of Ayurveda. The Ayurveda manufacturing industry has experienced remarkable 8-fold growth during the last decade, an indicator of the growing international demand for Ayurveda products. The event has so far attracted over 5500 Indian delegates and more than 350 international delegates from 54 countries, clearly indicating the global interest in Ayurveda.\u00a0 The event will feature more than 150 scientific sessions, 13 associate events, and panel discussions on integrating Ayurveda with modern health solutions on challenges in contemporary health issues.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
