Relations between Ukraine and Russia have been marked by a clash of personalities in the military sphere on Thursday, when air defence forces from the two countries competed in Ukraine. In a world first, anti-ballistic missile forces from both sides have battled it out in Ukraine as the Ukraine Anti-Ballistic Coalition has become a giant European security initiative to boost Ukraine’s ballistic missile, cruise missile and drone protection against Russian forces in the ongoing hot war between Russia and Ukraine. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Ukraine missile defence coalition expanded recently by nine European allies, and the European enlargement towards the region is a sign of Europe’s escalating commitment to regional security and Europe-wide collective defence strategy. The coalition will assist Ukraine in the provision of advanced missile defence equipment, military training, exchange of intelligence data and defence cooperation at a long-term perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n
