The program is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 that has instituted various measures for Indian higher education institutions to boost their presence abroad, like through international campuses and academic collaborations. The proposed campus envisages providing management education, executive programmes, research co-operation, faculty exchanges, student exchanges and learning through innovation. The endeavour is to align with India&#8217;s vision to enhance Indo-Pacific cooperation in Higher education, as stated by the Ministry of Education and the Indian Institute of Management,
