This new policy has come in the backdrop of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. As per the revised language scheme, students will study 3 languages in Classes 9-10, of which 2 or more will be Indian languages (R1, R2 &amp; R3).
